A Greater Cincinnati native, Britt comes from a strong sports background with a father who is a Major League Baseball scout and a mother who worked in the NHL; she made her own mark as a four-sport letterman at Beechwood High School. At Western Kentucky University, Britt turned her attention to Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis in sports as she also majored in Sport Management.

While at WKU Britt worked both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. She handled news and sportscasts for WKYU-TV News Channel 12 and The Extra Point. Britt's voice has been carried over the airwaves as a news reporter for Revolution 91.7.

In addition, Britt logged Major League experience as an events coordinator intern for the Cincinnati Reds. She revved up the following summer as an intern for the Kentucky Speedway handling video production for the website in conjunction with the NASCAR Quaker State 400. Each summer during her vacation time she continues to return to the track as a media relations assistant to help throughout race weekend.

Later on Britt joined the New York Islanders as a production intern. On the Island, she was able to expand her knowledge of TV production while improving her skills in front of the camera. Britt assisted in providing relevant, engaging content for fans through practice packages, postgame interviews, and event and player coverage.

Recently, Britt served as an Assistant Director for Blue Devil Network at Duke University. During her time at the university, she moved in front of the camera as a digital reporter for BDN and sideline reporter for ACC Network Extra while continuing to develop creative content for a variety of sport social media platforms and Duke Athletics. Outside of Duke, Britt joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group as the sideline reporter for Friday Night Rivals on WMYV-TV in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area. She also added the title of in-game host and reporter of the High Point Rockers to her resume. Britt hosted on-field promotions and contests while interacting and engaging with fans to enhance their experience at the ballpark as well as conducted postgame interviews with players and coaches during the teams inaugural season.

Britt is now a weekend sports anchor and reporter for WLKY back in her home state of Kentucky.
